The purpose of this Working Group is to explore and further develop settlement
sector standards to enhance the delivery of services to immigrants and
refugees. In order to attain this objective, four major outcomes have
been identified. They include: increased sectoral recognition and consensus
on national settlement service standards; increased sectoral recognition
and consensus on a national settlement service standards framework; improved
sectoral communication and capacity on best/promising practices; and improved
sectoral profile on service impacts and standards.
