iCAMS Security Requirements for Service Provider Organizations

The security requirements outlined in the iCAMS Security Requirements for Service Provider Organizations will be implemented as part of the CIC LINC/Host/ISAP Contribution Agreement six months following formal training on iCAMS in the respective programs. Service Provider Organizations (SPOs) offering RAP will be required to implement them as of April 1, 2003.

As these are new requirements, CIC is interested in obtaining feedback from SPOs on any issues or concerns that you may have concerning their implementation or suggestions for changes or modifications.

We would ask that comments submitted by SPO employees be reviewed by their Executive Director prior to their transmission to CIC. CIC will receive feedback until March 31, 2003. Feedback will be carefully reviewed by CIC and will be used to determine if any changes need to be made to the iCAMS security requirements.

Your feedback will ensure that both CIC and SPOs are working together to protect sensitive client information.
